Thanks to your help and support, our first annual Wings of Karen 5K Bra Dash was a great success. With over 750 participants and 100 volunteers, we were able to raise $30,000. 100% of these proceeds will be donated to promising breast cancer research here in the Pacific NW. This money will reach the hands of world class researchers at the University of Washington, Fred Hutchinson and the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, benefiting women everywhere. A cure is on the horizon, we see it, believe it and know it's within reach; thank you for bringing us one step closer.

As a part of breast cancer awareness month, Wings of Karen was recently selected as charity of choice for the Seattle Seahawks Women’s Association, to benefit from their Football 101 event on October 13th.  The Seahawks are pledging their support for Wings of Karen by presenting a a check check during halftime of the Seahawks-Patriots game on the 14th, while continuing to work with us throughout the year in various fundraising and awareness events.
